1. The renewal fee for an SPSV driver licence is €250. This increase has been applied to ensure the administration and processing costs are fully covered. The supply of driver ID and smart card are incorporated in this fee.
2. Please use the centralised payment system to make your payment, by ringing 0761 064000. Once payment is processed you will receive a receipt of payment within seven working days, which should be submitted to your issuing Garda station as part of the renewal process.
3. An Garda Síochána continues to be the licensing authority for the renewal of your licence. Your issuing station will advise on the requirements for renewal.
